Another great
year is starting
The Striped Bass are chasing sand eels and squid all around
Block Island….Most all trips are limiting out on the bass and releasing a
few shorts and legal ones too. Bluefish are also being caught but are not
as plentiful yet. Fluke fishing is mostly a release fishing right now. Lots
of small fluke being caught and only a few keepers are going home. Hopefully
the water will warm up and bring in the larger fluke with it. Seems like they
are a few weeks behind in arriving here. Sea Bass and Scup are starting to
show up too, so bottom fishing should be great once the season open up for
them too.
